Begging Reports of Autowala and the Beggar

14^th August | Afternoon | Approx 1:30

There are only two places in India where every common person feels like being a celebrity. One is railway and the other one is metro station’s exit gate.

It seems all the autowalas of the city gathered there to grab an opportunity to take you on a ride.

As we stepped out of the Kanpur central Station Kanpur Central Station with my brother and Bua, ten-fifteen auto drivers surrounded us.

   ‘Sir, Come with me.’

  ‘Where do you have to go?’ Everyone was screaming.

2-3 of them tried to take luggage forcefully from us to keep in their auto.

  ‘Arey,listen! We have to go near Lal Bangla.’ Bua said.

  ‘ Rama Devi!’ I specified.

Even then, 4-5 started arguing that who would take us.

Supply exceeded the demand there. Too many competitors in the market!

Immediately, I asked decided to give opportunity to one of them before they start fighting.

  ‘Thik hai bhaiya, aap le chalo!’  ( Okay , you take us!) I said to one of them, randomly.

He took both luggages from my hand and we followed him.

  ‘Where are you people coming from?’ he asked

  ‘Agra!’ My bro and Bua replied together while I was busy in messaging my friends informing about my arrival to the city after so long time.

  ‘Was it raining there??’ He asked again.

  ‘Yes, it rained yesterday.’ Bua replied.

  ‘Did it rain heavily?’ He asked again like a news reporter. ‘Here, there is no sign of rain at all!’ He continued even without our reply.

By the time it was clear to us that we would get all the latest update of Kanpur in the half-and hour of our auto ride.

  ‘See this over bridge. God knows when these people would complete the construction.

Do you know, in the name of over-bridge construction, they had de-constructed the roads since last ten years?’

  ‘Ten years! Really?’ I murmured.

  ‘Yeah Di!’ My bro reminded me. ‘The work started even before you left Kanpur, nine years before.’

  ‘There is so much of corruption in UP. Government doesn’t works at all. They are busy in increasing their own bank balance.’ Autowala explained.

‘So does everyone. We all do the same.’ I said to myself, as I did not wanted any debate with the autowala.  

After moving few more kilometres, we found the railway crossing close. We  had to wait for the train for another five to ten minutes.

A ‘gentle’ looking man came toward us and greeted the autowala and both got busy sharing the social, political and all sorts of information for another 60 seconds. It was as they show 60 news in 60 seconds on some news channel.

 ‘This train was running on time till yesterday. Why is it so late today?’ One more update from our autowala.

After the ‘gentle’ man left, I heard our autowala speaking to someone in very loud voice.

I turned to right and then left, but couldn’t found the reason (person) on which he was shouting.

  ‘What the hell are you doing here in this summer afternoon? Go to Ganga river and take bath.’

  ‘Why should I go there?’ The other man asked.
Then I followed the voice of the other person.

A handicapped beggar was there next to our auto sitting on the roadside.

  ‘Go and wash away your sin in Ganga.’ Autowala said.

  ‘I don’t need. I am not a sinner.’ The beggar replied.

  ‘You are the greatest sinner in this world.’

  ‘No, I am not!’ Beggar denied.

  ‘You are! You are the sinner. You cheat people and looting them.’ He was in no mood to spare the beggar.

 

Like kids, both argued for another few minutes till the crossing reopened. And I was feeling pity on the poor lame beggar who was living so hard life. Begging in the hot noon, crawling on the burning concrete roads was so difficult.

I was wondering, why the hell, this person (autowala) is poking his nose in everyone’s affair? Why don’t he leave a beggar he just saw on the road?

Even though I never entertain the beggars and begging, I felt pity on his wretched condition.

Autowala restarted the auto and his reporting as well.

  ‘You know mam, this man earns minimum 1000 rupees per day.’

  ‘One T H O U S A N D... p e r   d a y? Atleast THIRTY Thousands per month?’ All of sudden my all senses woke up, and so was the condition of my bro and Bua.

He was earning more than the most of the educated fresher earning from their white-collar jobs. 

  ‘Yeah mam, and his brother drops him here every morning and pick him up in the evening..on his bike.’ He narrated.

All the feeling of sympathy, which developed inside, vanished all of a sudden. I was speechless!

I was debating myself, should I criticize him or applaud?

Then a thought came! When everyone is running to make his or her money, why can’t he crawl for that?

When the politicians and business tycoons are earning millions doing so many scams, cheating the people, sitting in the air-conditioned room and travelling in luxurious cars. Then even he has the human-right of making money from people doing nothing productive. However, beggars are working so hard.

Begging is definitely one of the most difficult jobs, which demands so many skilled like the other profession, except the education qualification.

They are not any less professional at their work and devoted to their work adapting the environment completely.

Really, these beggars are such an effective sales person, with so good communication skill that successfully make people to give them money even then when a person knows about the begging business. They are so highly talented actor that once you may say Salman Khan and Amitabh Bacchan that they are doing over-acting. But you can’t ever recognise these streets talent that whether they are suffering truly or mocking it.

And the beggar thought of the be

gging situation of India ended with the auto which stopped infront of our house.

                                                                                                                                                        

But dude.. begging demands so much of talent...Seriously !

Om | Sun & The great YOGA fuss !!

Isn't it a proud moment for every INDIAN that on 21^st June the whole world is going to celebrate the International Yoga Day that was proposed by India?

Why there is so much fuss about yoga all around?

From last so many days this thought was not leaving my mind at all. Therefore I wanted to share my views with you all.

Is it because yoga is an ancient practice which was originated in India when there was no religion and everyone worships the nature considering the almighty?

       1.     Does bowing to Sun belong to Hinduism? 

When I was a child and asked my elders, “What do we mean by worshiping God?” 

I was told that it was nothing else, but a way to thanks God for everything and asking God to shower his blessings on our dear ones and us.

Then I asked, “Who the God is?”
I was told that he is no one else, but the supreme power in form of different energies, which created us and providing us all the means to live on this earth.

 

A child mind never ends with a curiosity. While I was wondering HOW to ask another question, it was clear on my puzzled face.

“Can you imagine life on earth without SUN?” He asked me.
I nodded, “No!”

“Every living organism on earth, for plants, animals, humans, birds and every living creatures living on land and inside ocean gets energy to live from Sun no matter which species and community you belongs to. Sun is the source of the immense power for us!

That is why every living creature thanks to Sun in different ways. Therefore, we too worship Sun as God.

We thanks the fire as AGNI in Sanskrit language, air as VAYU, water as VARUN, moon as CHANDRA  and other planets in our solar system whose energies effect our life on earth. ” He explained.

The thirst of curiosity was not quenched. I asked different people and found that not only the Hindus, but other ancient mythologies in this world like Greek and Norse mythology, also worship the power of the nature.

Later when new religions were formed, people following the particular one in different part of worlds like Islam, Christianity, Sikhs, Buddhism, Jainism, and others, they adopted a different path and way to worship the almighty.  

The Sun, the Moon, air, water has never discriminated between people of different religion, but it was human who created this DISCRIMINATIONS in this world.

Then what is wrong in thanking to the nature, the sun or the moon?

Sun does not belongs to Hindus. Hindus like all other creatures in the universe, belongs to Sun!

        2.      Does Om belong to Hinduism?

Om is not a spiritual word rather it is a sound. But more than sound it is the vibration of the universe.
It is a scientific, therapeutic, psychological which can be spoken by even a DUMB people. It is the frequency of energy, which connects and joins all things together. 

OM represents three components A,U.M. The three divisions of time: 
            A – is the waking state
            U – is the dream state
            M – is the state of deep sleep

The vibration produced by chanting Om in the physical universe communicate to the original vibration that first arose at the time of creation.
The sound of Om is also called Pranava, which means that it sustains life and runs through Prana (breath).

It is scientifically proven that singing OM has invaluable vibratory effects in our bodies, helps to achieve slow, regular and complete exhalation, aids to control and relax our breathing system and has several soothing effects in our minds. And this is the reason Om is being recite during the meditation and  performing the yoga.

There have been several theories behind the OM. Among them, the most popular explanation is that it was the cosmic sound, which initiated the creation of universe, the big bang theory.

Om does not belongs to Hindus. The Hindus like all other creatures in the universe, belongs to Om!
And it is true that religions originated from the land of India follows this.

       3.     Does Sanskrit belongs to Hindus ?

Sanskrit is an ancient language of India. Hinduism is being followed in India used this language to communicate and for writing their manuscripts.

And so does the Islam originated in Arabs used the Arabic language and thus all other religions originated in different parts of the world used the communication language which was in the land of their origin.

When their followers spread in other parts of the world, they communicate in the language they knew and thus the language of a REGION became language of the RELIGION originated from that region.

 Does calling Ishwara in Sanskrit, Allah in Arabic, God in English changes the supreme power by the language we communicate. Does the almighty really have a different language for different religion?

If a man worships the supreme power in English, Arabic and Hindi, the three different almighty will respond each time?

Sanskrit does not belong to Hindus. Hindus belongs to Sanskrit !

       4.     Does Scarf belong to Muslim girls?

In India Hindu, Sikh and Christian girls wears scarf to protect themselves from the summer heat like the Muslim girls wearing scarf as per their religious culture.

Then should Hindu priest put ban on Hindu girls wearing scarf considering it as the symbol of Islam?

Does a Hindu girl is no more a Hindu after wearing scarf to protect herself from the heat and pollution?

As the people in most part of India have different dresses for the daughters (no matter married or unmarried)of the house and different for the daughter –in- law of the same age at home. Does the dress change the feminism after marriage? Or is it to mark her as a girl immigrate from different family?

       5.     Chicken | Pork |Beef

According to Hindu mythology, God is there in every living creature. God Vishnu incarnated upon earth first as a fish.
Then why there is no objection in killing Hen, Goats, Fish (the most sacred aquatic life in Hinduism) and other animals?

Stop thinking politically!

Be a human being and follow the humanity. It will not be an obstacle in being a loyal citizen of a country or a loyal follower of a religion.

Yoga, Om and Sun is for every human being. Let’s all make these part of our healthy and prosperous life.

Let’s all celebrate this International Yoga Day this June 21^st proudly as a human being!

CBSE proving itself to be unprofessional and irresponsible through NET Dec 2014

CBSE delaying the NET Dec 2014 result is the best example of how much irresponsible can be one of the most reputed organisations of Indian government.

NET is one of the prestigious exam in India and very important for those who want to PhD and a compulsory criteria to  become Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges.

Before  NET Dec 2014, NET (National EligibilityTest) was conducted by the National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC). From NET Dec 2014, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting this exam on behalf of the UGC.

Lakhs of students had given the NET exam on 28^th Dec 2014.
Where result was supposed to be declared by lastly 3^rd week of April, there is still no sign of declaring the result in coming days.

CBSE is not bothered either to declare the result or to give any information about declaring the result.

Result for  CSIR-UGC NET exam conduted on 21^st Dec 2014 has already been declared, but for CBSE NET Dec 2014 they are still waiting for the result.

 

Are four months not enough for CBSE to declare the result for NET Dec 2014 ?

NET exam was hand over to CBSE with the expectation that CBSE will conduct it more perfectly and fairly as it has experience of conducting many important exams in India.
For JEE Mains which was conducted by CBSE on 4^th (offline) and on 10^th & 11^th(online),  results has been already declared on 27^th April.

They have already started taking submission for the NET June 2015 from April 15, but where is the result for NET Dec 2014?

Irony is that when students are trying to reach CBSE office through mobile or emails, they do not reply for the mails and for many days their all contact numbers were not working.

Luckily when few students got their call received by CBSE officials in April third week, they said that result will be declared in last week of April.
On last day of April they said it will come in first week of May, later they said second week of May and now they saying result will come in June.

Last date to apply for JUNE 2015 is 15^th of May  and exam will be conducted on 28^th June.

What is the point of asking to re-apply even without knowing the result of the previous exam?
What if student apply for NET June 2015 and find later that he/she has qualified for  NET Dec 2014?
Is it not the wastage of Time-Money-Resource of all those students?
Do CBSE want to make money by conducting such exams?
So many such questions are running in the minds of all those who had appreared in NET Dec 2014 and those who are going to appear in June 2015 for the first time.

For many of the institutions and universities in India to apply for PhD and Assistant Professor, last date will end in May.

No one have clue that why CBSE and MHRD is playing with the future of so many students.

This is such a highly unprofessional, ridiculous, irresponsible and disgusting behavior of higher authorities.

Are only international issues are important for the government?
Where are their promises for the youths during the election campaigns?
