Story of a Girl Born without Eyes:Bilateral Anophthalmia)
How BLACK, one’s life could be and how HEARTLESS, a father and a mother (who carried her child in her womb
for 9 months before birth) could be..!!
In January 2012, one day a just born baby girl was found in the bathroom of a train
to Deoghar. GRP took the girl child to Deoghar police station and handed over
to Narayan Sewa Ashram.
Like
other girls in the ashram, One more
beautiful little bud got a mother, father, so many sisters...a beautiful family.
Within a day, a couple came to adopt a
girl child. They fell in love with this beautiful little bud. She was
sleeping and her smiling –glowing face made the couple feel that she is the
girl whom they want to call them maa and papa.
However the little bud was showered with curses rather than boons.
Unfortunately the little bud was found to be blind from the birth. She never opened and never can open her eyes
Even, that couple was heartless like those who gave birth to her. Everyone in
Narayan Sewa Ashram thought that she was in safe hands now, but how unfortunate
for them to see the couples bringing back
the innocent child to the Ashram.
When
the couple told that they haven’t wished
for a blind child, the Ashram doesn’t know whether to take this incident as
a bad sign (‘cause the little bud lost
became homeless twice in just 2
days) or as a good sign (‘cause the little girl has escaped from the hands of
another heartless humans who doesn’t see
the true love).
Raagni was
at her real home again where she was getting the special love and care of Pita (father) HareRam Pandey and Maa (mother)
Bhavani Devi.
Raagni is a patient of Bilateral
Anophthalmia (rare deformation in which eyes do not
develop during first 28 days of pregnancy).
Doctor said; she can’t see the world ever.
It was very
sad moment for the Narayan Sewa Ashram. But, unlike her parents, Raagini is
getting more care and love from
every individual at her home.
HareRam Pandey dreams to make her a singer. He believes that God
has not given her eyes to see the
beauty of the world, but she will show
the beauty of world to others through her beautiful voice.
It is really hard to believe sometime that this is happening in the reality
around us –Throwing Away the Girl Child.
We
use to see and hear from stories, magazines, TV serials, Movies…But when I met
this beautiful girl in the ashram, I was
overwhelmed. I was speechless.
